About Becky Hanna
Becky Hanna, Realtor(Sales)
Raised in the real estate development and custom home building industry, Becky's Father was one of Houston, Texas’ premier custom home builders. While Becky's Mother assisted in the decorating of these fine homes, little did she know her Sunday’s as a child riding around viewing properties would lead her to her current status as a Realtor on Maui! Becky learned to appreciate the value of location and the importance of quality.
After graduating from high school, Becky was co founder of one of Hawaii’s oldest and most complete natural foods stores on the North Shore of Oahu. Managing this enterprise taught her the importance of good employees and most importantly, service to her customers.
After nearly ten years of owning her own business, Becky returned to the mainland and started a career in banking. She serviced large deposit accounts in Southampton, NY. Becky was also Vice President of Hanna & Hanna LTD, a construction company in the Hampton’s, while holding a New York state real estate license working the prestigious and lovely ‘Hamptons’.
As Becky progressed in her banking career, she was given the opportunity to become a personal assistant to a number of bank clientèle, including Geraldine Spreckels Fuller. As a personal assistant, she managed large estates in New York City; Southampton, New York and Palm Beach, Florida. Her tasks included managing the household staff, grounds, and the personal affects needed by the 'old guard'. Becky was loyal and dedicated until their demise. Becky assisted the families in settling the estates.
Becky returned to the construction industry starting her own business, RGH Restorations, restoring vintage homes in the West Palm Beach area. Locating the perfect properties, she designed the restorations (working physically on the projects), oversaw the renovations and staged for sales. As the buyers came, Becky managed the escrow for the sale. Her average turn around time was 90 days from start to finish.
Upon returning to Hawaii, Becky has purchased several vacant lots for speculation and renovated homes. The obvious next business venture for Becky was, again, to obtain her real estate license here on Maui. She feels privileged and honored to assist others in realizing their dream of owning property on the beautiful and magical island, Maui. Becky recently joined a new brokerage company, Coldwell Banker Island Properties, Paia. Coldwell Banker Island Properites is ranked #1 on Maui!
Becky feels fortunate to be the mother of two lovely daughters and 2 precious granddaughters. She enjoys Gardening as her favorite past time. Becky also enjoys interior design and landscape design.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know Becky. It is her hope that you have determined that service, loyalty, discretion and quality are attributes that she holds dear to her real estate profession and, her existence.
